For his documentary ‘The Proteome Code’, filmmaker Michael Trabitzsch met with scientists and doctors from around the world researching the human building blocks, proteins. Their findings could lead to countless new diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities over the coming ten years. In Trabitzsch’s film, Prof. Dr. Michael Hummel discusses the development of precision medicine. He is the national coordinator of the German Biobank Node (GBN) and head of the Molecular Diagnostics department within the Institute of Pathology at the Charité university hospital in Berlin.
