10,741,579 tissue samples, 5,321,219 liquid samples and 982 research projects supported – the German Biobank Node (GBN) has prepared an appealing infographic containing these and other key figures on the German Biobank Alliance (GBA) in 2017. The infographic also indicates the stakeholders involved in the network and the journey that biomaterial samples take from the biobank to researchers.
