Als Ergänzung zu seiner Jahrestagung hat ISBER eine regionale Veranstaltungsreihe eingerichtet. Diese Treffen beinhalten ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit einer Vielzahl von Themen sowie Postersessions, Ausstellungen und gesellschaftliche Veranstaltungen. Das ISBER-Symposium in Berlin, das in Zusammenarbeit mit dem German Biobank Node (GBN) organisiert wird, ist das europäische Regionaltreffen von ISBER im Jahr 2019.
