The Permanent Working Party of Research Ethics Committees in Germany (AK-EK) has updated its templates for informed consent on the use of biomaterials and related data in biobanks in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). The AK-EK makes its templates available online to allow biobanks to formulate their own texts.
