Registration for Microbiome Workshop

From a relatively new field to ”microbiomania” – in recent years, the microbiome has increasingly attracted attention in research. After all, it plays a role in numerous diseases: in chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, in skin eczema or lung diseases. It even has an effect on organs such as the brain, to which it does not even reach. With the help of metagenomics, scientists today record exactly how many of the different species are found in biosamples.

At the GBN workshop "Biobanking in Microbiome Research" on 15 September 2022 in Hanover, medical researchers and biobankers will talk about current findings and trends in science as well as the challenges of biobanking in this context. The event will take place at the Clinical Research Center (CRC) Hannover; the conference language will be English. Details of the programme can be found in the event flyer.

If you are interested, please register via Eventbrite. The number of participants is limited to 80 persons. Due to this limitation, please cancel your registration if you find out at a later date that you will not be able to attend. In this way you make it possible for others to participate.
